According to Pitchfork, there is a new Books LP on the way! “‘We started collecting audio tapes and video tapes on our last tour and we came home with a mountain of stuff— around 4000 tapes,’ said Zammuto in a recent phone interview. ‘There’s an unbelievable amount of treasure to go through, and that’s what we’ve been up to over the past few years.’” To quote John Goldstein from This American Life, as well as “If Not Now, Whenever” by The Books: I can’t find the books, they must be in La Jolla. Very excited about a new release.
