I just spent $20 for more than $260 worth of computer programs. And 25 percent of the money went to a charity.
The programs vary from interesting to useless, as far as I’m concerned; I don’t need a fancy program to keep a diary, or a complicated clipboard editor.
However, RipIt is worth the $20 alone; it’s a super simple DVD ripping app, which I plan on using once I have a little more hard drive space available. The other really neat program is CoverScout, which finds missing album art.
Flow would be cool if I ever did anything with FTP; maybe someday.
Tales of Monkey Island (some game) and RapidWeaver (a lightweight web design app) become “unlocked” once they reach a certain amount of sales, so go there and buy something. It’s only available for 7 days. Get crackin’.
(Another, similar program, TheMacSale, has a bunch of applications bundled until March 15th, but I’m not sure if I want to bother. I’ve heard great things about PathFinder, and VideoConverter Pro looks neat; but I don’t really want to spend $50.)
